There has been lots happening in the Fox classroom again this week. We have finished our printing based on our Navigating Norfolk Topic and there are some wonderful detailed reproductions. They took great care marking out their block before ink; printing and then peeling for the magical reveal.
In English, we continued with the Rhythm of the Rain as the children described the journey of a jar of water which had been poured into a stream. The figurative language was great and we were able to use some personification for some elements of the stream too.
Year 6 had their transition days at high school. They returned full of excitement with many stories to tell. We too had our transition day this week and our new class of Foxes created some great ideas for their different coloured dots based on the story ‘The Dot’. We also investigated our names using fractions (parts of a whole) to see if we noticed anything interesting about each other’s names.
Finally, we donned our aprons for the last time this term, as we baked and prepared sandwiches for our end of year Village Cafe.
